Buckle up, because you’re in for a bumpy ride.
TikTokers have been sharing clips of their scariest plane rides, with turbulence causing a wave of chaos among passengers.
Some of the toughest flight videos show food and drinks flying around the plane, with aisles and footwells littered with debris.
Monica Raygada filmed such a scene during a flight from Austin, Texas, to Frankfurt, Germany, with Lufthansa and said she “nearly died” due to a gust of violent air currents.

This clip shared by @skytleea shows people holding on to the seats in front of them as they experience severe turbulence.
As he reveals the trail of destruction left by the turbulence with thrown trays of food and pieces of crockery, a male passenger can be heard saying: “I thought they were losing control of the plane.”
In response, a flying woman says, “I think we were falling a little bit in love.”
In an overlay caption, Monica explains the chain of events: “We were all having dinner 1.5 hours after the flight and suddenly we fell.
“It felt like we were in zero gravity for a while because I saw everything fly by in slow motion.
“After the initial drop where everything was blown up and everyone was screaming, everything fell to the ground and it seemed like we kept falling.
‘That’s when everyone fell silent. That’s when we all thought this was it.
Monica revealed that she began frantically looking for her phone that had fallen on the ground during the bumpy ride, as she wanted to text her family “bye-bye.”
After about 15 minutes, he said the crew was finally able to get up and check on the injured.
They were then told that the plane would land in Washington DC. According to the Washington Metropolitan Airports Authority, seven people were injured during the flight.

He concluded: “Thank God most of us were wearing seat belts because this could have ended so much worse.”
TikToker @darkhorsetok uploaded a video of the same flight, with the contents of a bottle of red wine spilled all over the floor along with other things from pillows to napkins.
In another TikTok, photographer Peter Yan reveals how he was hit by turbulence while flying first class with Emirates.
In the caption, he simply explains, “It was terrifying.”
The footage shows her private cabin shaking violently, her glass of white wine splashing precariously.
Peter said in the comments section that the downside of experiencing turbulence in first class was that he was alone and not with other people for comfort.

The footage was filmed on a Delta flight from Santa Ana, California, to Seattle, Washington, but due to turbulence forced a diversion to Reno, Nevada.

Creator @jazzy63087 said she started recording a video to show her son that he was on a cloud. However, “then the turmoil started” and she said that she had “never been more scared”.
Many commenters took a comedic stance after seeing the crooked cart, with @kirans007 joking “was this on Spirit Airlines?”, while @capnobviously wrote “free drinks for everyone”.
A chaotic plane scene shared by @jsteelo04, which takes the panic levels up a notch or two, shows a flight attendant flying through the air along with a load of overhead bin cargo as the plane shakes.
Meanwhile, a TikTok uploaded by @iamamlik captures people screaming with a passenger yelling “let’s go down!” as the plane plummets.
Commenting on the clip, @Borchy_j wrote: “Even the slightest turbulence on a plane fills me with panic… I’m sure if this happened to me I would have a heart attack.”
But @bbyziza7 bucked the trend, writing: ‘Am I the only one who really likes turbulence?
“Airplane travel can be very boring, a little turbulence here and there makes it very exciting.”
